Free DMV Practice Tests Online

Have you ever had to go to the DMV and renew a driver’s license or take a driving test? I have, and wow the DMV can be a real painful process.

I recently had to help a friend get their drivers license for California. My friend had to transfer her license from Nevada to California. For this process she had to take a California driving test; written and physical driving test. We went down to the DMV to get all the necessary forms to Practice for her tests. After standing in a 2 hour line and dealing with some “not-so-happy agents”, we finally were informed that the DMV Practice test Booklet was out and they did not have any more to give way. This was very discouraging since we just spent half the day at the DMV and were in no better shape than when we started.

I figured at his point my friend still had to take her tests and still needed a way to study for them. So I went online. After a couple hours of research I found a sweet website! This website,has every DMV Practice Test for all 50 States. This website is a great resource. I found Free DMV Practice tests here as well as DMV Driving Manuals.

So once I found this great resource I passed it on to my friend and she began to study. My friend ended up taking the DMV driving test about 3 days after finding this website. She said she studied about an hour each night and then took the test. After she took the test she told me that every question that was presented in the website was the exact question that was on the DMV driving test. She said that this website,really helped her practice and got her prepared to pass the DMV driving test. My friend passed the test first time and missed 1 question. She did great and we are all proud of her! She is now a valid California driver and we are all a bit safer for that.

Free Online Truck Driving Jobs Application

We have reduced the free online trucking jobs application process to 2 steps. The information we request on our truck driver jobs employment applications is information that the company truck driver, owner operator and diesel mechanic recruiters have asked us to get from those completing our trucking jobs applications. We have worked with many trucking companies over the last 10+ years and have been making their jobs easier in qualifying the many trucking jobs applications they receive.

We were the first company to offer a free online truck driving jobs application that was then emailed to our trucking company recruiting members who had truck driving job openings in the trucking industry. When we first started offering this service to the trucking companies as well as the truck drivers searching for jobs, we added a secure database where we could store all our free truck driving jobs applications in the trucking industry. This allowed the truck drivers to return and update their free job application online instead of having to complete the entire truck driving jobs application all over again. This was a relatively new process at the time, but with much hard work and money well spent we made the system work for both our truck driver jobs applicants and our trucking companies with openings for professional truck driving jobs.

As time went on we had several trucking company recruiters request for us to add additional information and make a separate free truck driving jobs application just for owner-operator driving positions, so we did, using the same design and process as our trucking company truck driving jobs system. Then along came a major truck manufacturer who requested that we create a new kind of trucking industry employment application that they could use to hire Diesel Repair Technicians/Mechanics, we agreed but felt it would better serve our community to make it available to all companies looking for Diesel Repair Technicians, making more diesel truck repair job openings available to more of our community.

We were truck drivers, company truck drivers and owner operator – driving fools that had to keep looking up information about the trucking industry, such as DOT regulations, etc. Trying to keep in touch with other members of the trucking industry, whether it be other company truck drivers, owner operators, brokers, etc. You know how messy all those links in your favorites get no matter how clean you try to keep them and back then the internet was painfully slow, and had to pay by the hour most times. (geez, glad those days are over).

So the owner came up with an idea of creating a website where all that information would be available to all that could use it, and further it was decided to create an online community where members of the trucking industry could actually talk to one another online and share experiences, information, even family support. There you have it, the birth of the first and LARGEST online community of trucking industry members – The Drivers’ RoundTable. Truck drivers, Owner Operators, Trucking Company Owner (big or small fleets), Diesel Truck Mechanics, Safety Information, DOT enforcement, etc. Where they discuss truck driving and the many different parts and issues that make up driving a commercial vehicle, including truck driving jobs. It didn’t matter, if they dealt with trucking, they belong to the Truck.Net Trucking Community in one way or another.

It is Not All Free on a Rally Driving Experience.

If you’ve got a rally driving experience for a present, don’t think you can just turn up and drive. Those shrewd experience day sellers have a number of money-making ideas to cash in on your custom.

Here’s a list of the most expensive extras they’ll be convincing you to spend on, on top of the price of the experience.

Insurance for the rally car
The most costly extra payment is usually your insurance. Every rally driving experience is a bit different, but generally the rally providers will ask if you want to buy insurance when you turn up. This is a considerable charge, usually coming in at about £20.

If you don’t want to pay this insurance, and you damage the car, you’ll have to pay a big excess of £2000 or more.

Of course the insurance brings in a fortune for the providers of your rally experience, without them having to do anything else. The companies are usually covered for these cars by their own insurance companies already, so they keep all the cash whatever happens.

I’m not saying don’t buy insurance, but when you work out the numbers, there’s a lot of money flowing towards the experience providers. It’s far less likely than you’d imagine that people will need to claim on this insurance because you’re always under the control of an expert in the passenger seat, and they won’t let you get into dangerous situations.

Of course that doesn’t mean you won’t be the first to swerve into a tree trunk, but it’s interesting to remember this when they’re trying to scare you with how much cash you could lose. You can just turn up and drive, but remember to be extra careful if you have no insurance

Photos of your rally driving day

You will often find you have a professional photographer taking photos of your driving expertise. These are often professionally taken pictures of you sitting in the driving seat before you start, or the car jumping and screeching round corners.

Now, these pictures are fun and great to show off to your friends, but again you’ll be paying hand over fist for them. You’ll usually get an A5 photo for £25, with an option to get all the pictures on a CD for £10 extra. Not a bargain when you could have brought your own camera for free.

Again it’s up to you though. The photographer can get up close, so these snaps are usually good and a great reminder of the experience. But think what else you could buy for that money.

Buying food
These courses usually have a café or snack shop, serving the usual food like overpriced coffee and dodgy sandwiches. If you have lunch here you’ll be paying an extra £5 each at least.

We’re not quibbling about spending a few pounds for a drink, it’s just the relentless moneygrabbing that gets us down. Surely once you’ve put your hand in your pocket and paid for the rally experience, they should be giving you this stuff for free.

But after paying over £100 for a really driving experience, it can be all to easy to hand over the extra cash, and find out you’ve spent double what the original experience cost!
